Pilates Director/Pilates and CoreAlign Instructor - Eugene Studio

BS Exercise and Movement Science, Dance Minor. University of Oregon, 2002

Polestar Pilates Studio Certification, 2005

While growing up in Anchorage, Alaska I spent most of my time in the dance studio. In addition to taking a wide range of dance classes and rehearsing, I began to spend time as the assistant for my favorite instructor, developing my teaching skills and sparking an ongoing interest in helping others enjoy their movement experience. I continued to teach dance classes around Eugene as I worked on my degree at the University of Oregon.

After graduation, I began taking Pilates classes at Carpe Diem to battle the ill effects of sitting at a desk all day long. It didn't take me long to realize how beneficial the classes were; not only for my body but also for my state of mind. Because of this, I jumped at the chance to earn my Pilates certification through Carpe Diem when the opportunity arose.

I am honored that I am able to make my passion my career, and I am thrilled about having the opportunity to work with our clients; to help him or her experience and better understand movement and to appreciate both the physical and the mental benefits of exercise.
