I spent my early years in northern California and moved with my family to Eugene in 2003. Sports have always played a huge part in my life; soccer being my number one priority. Sadly, I tore my MCL and suffered from other various injuries while I played for Sheldon High School. Although my career as a college athlete was delayed, each time I visited the athletic trainer or physical therapist for my injuries, I was increasingly intrigued to learn about the human body: how it fails, and how it heals.
Eager to learn more, I studied hard for my NCCPT certification to become a personal trainer in 2006 and thrived in the fitness industry for over five years. During this time I completed a double major in Health Science & Physical Activity and Exercise. With support of my family and my new found knowledge of the body, I conditioned myself back to 100% and achieved my goal of playing college soccer at Colorado State University.
My experiences have given me a new-found passion of helping people realize and address muscular imbalances or limitations to both prevent injuries and increase mind-body awareness. I believe everyone has an athlete in them, but a unique one- with individual strengths and weaknesses. I enjoy tailoring programs that are progressive and provide results to live longer, stronger, healthier lives.
I approach everybody like an athlete; providing accountability, education, and encouragement to not only reach fitness goals, but possess the mind-body knowledge and increased awareness to maintain results for a lifetime.
